"Born and raised in Atlanta GA, Artesano (pseudonym) began his creative journey with a deep connection to southern street culture and self-expression. Initially drawn to the art of tattooing, he developed a mastery of line, form, and the intimate act of storytelling on skin. Tattooing became both a craft and a dialogue—one where permanence and vulnerability intertwined, shaping a distinctive visual language.
In time, this language evolved into larger-scale explorations on canvas, where the immediacy of tattoo artistry expanded into the layered depth of fine art. Today, Artesano bridges these worlds—merging the precision and intimacy of tattoo work with the scale, color, and conceptual weight of painting. His work reflects a journey of transformation, celebrating identity, resilience, and the pursuit of beauty across mediums. From ink to canvas, his art remains rooted in Atlanta but speaks to universal themes of selfhood and vision."
